Alright, been a long time coming but I'm finally moving over to the M sustem. I'm looking to trade for a Leica M-10 (preferably in Silver chrome), I'm based in UK Derbyshire, can travel for the right trade.

Condition: Very good. It has been used but always had a screen protector. The lens is free from any scratches or debris, has always had a filter fitted, and I will include a UV filter to protect it. There are some very minor marks and scuffs, but overall it's very clean (dust is hard to avoid!).

Main marks include:

Scratches on the strap lugs (common for this model)

Tiny mark above the right strap lug

A few minor marks on the base (I used a handgrip most of the time)

The square lens hood has some minor scratches from being dropped while changing the filter

Overall, it's in excellent condition. Happy to send more images to interested parties.

Firstly, all those that told me the Q series was a gateway Leica, bugger off - you were right 😂

I have craved the M series ever since owning an original Q typ116 and my above limited edition Q2.

I'm particularly interested in an M240/262 or an M10. I'm missing 35/50mm focal lengths and the Q3 43 whilst amazing, will still leave me wanting to taste the M series honey pot at least for now.

Herein lies the issue, an M can be my fun camera for travel and adventures with my wife. But I'm also looking at the SL series (I have admired them for a long time and I'm a previous L mount user) to cover my other needs.

Those that have switched away from the Q series, did many of you go back?

Any thoughts, ideas, people that have been through similar situations or trade offers welcome 😂

Sorry this is a little all over the place, I've been using the Q series for a while now and I've had the M and SL camera in mind for YEARS so I'm coming to you guys for help and advice!
