The Sweet Pea

Sweet Pea is the reason I had to break my streak of naming pets after borderlands characters. She's just such a sweet pea that we couldn't name her anything else. She loves everyone and instantly requires affection upon meeting you. She LOVES being outside, to my chagrin, but we're not really in a place to keep her indoor only right now. She was living outside around my cousin's cottage style apartments, and we don't have predators in the neighborhood, especially since it's expanded and now has tons of new houses where fields used to be.

She's my gorgeous baby girl, and I love her with my whole being. She gets all the love and affection I have, since my two other cats passed last year. She doesn't mind getting all the love, as long as you scratch her neck and/or cheeks. She also loves to hunt everything ever, especially cicadas and dragonflies

She's just a Sweet Pea!!!!!!!!

This is Sweet Pea. She's the only reason I broke my streak of naming pets after borderlands characters, because she's just such a little sweet pea! She loves everyone and demands love IMMEDIATELY upon meeting them. She LOVES being outside, to my chagrin, but we're not in a place where it's feasible to be indoor only. Thankfully she stays nearby, and if my mom lets her out in the morning before I come home from work, she sprints across the driveway the second she hears my car to demand attention. I love her, and I've bought so many different wet foods and treats trying to find one she'll actually eat. And not just lick the gravy. She eats my brother's cat's prescription food and barely touches her own. (Second microchip bowl happening this paycheck.)

She's my gorgeous little baby girl, and she gets doted on and adored every time I need time with a kitty, after my two other cats passed last year. I just needed to gush about how precious and how sweet and how pretty she is. Thank you for admiring the Sweet Pea!

Tendency to toolps

My Mordecai had a habit to just plop down and roll onto his back to chill. Somewhere in the first month after bringing him home, I got a photo of him toolps-ing under my bed. The boy trusted me from the get go, and he usually got a couple belly rubs any time he was chilling belly out.

Then bonus image of my Sweet Pea, during one of the much less frequent times she's toolpsed. She doesn't do it several times a week, if not multiple times in a day. Mordecai was a serial toolpser

I need project ideas and inspiration for unused yarns

I subscribe to the darn good yarn's yarn of the month, and I have a few yarns that I have no idea what to do with. The small ball is a light weight yarn. Probably close to a 3/DK/light worsted. The other two are probably more a medium to light-medium, about a 4 or maybe a 3.5/worsted. This one I've got a pretty small amount left

The larger ball texture is a little rough, possibly really good for dish cloths or something. I need a smoother, softer yarn if I'm going to use it for wearables. But I'm also totally fine with gifting it to someone with less sensory overload tendencies. I've got what's probably a little less than a standard skein, in both this one and the yarn that hasn't been tamed yet.

I don't have anything in particular that I think would look great with any of these, and for the size reference, my hands are fairly small, wearing a small size rubber glove and a 6 sterile glove, for anyone familiar with that sizing. I really don't know how else to describe it

Remembering Moxxi

I was showing my girlfriend some photos of Moxxi. She's the reason I'll always need a tortie point in my life. Super sassy, could give you some real tortitude, but it was always in the "how dare you not actively pay attention to exactly what I want right this second," often grabbing your hand to remind you that she needs more pets. She'd also force you to stop petting for a few seconds while she licked your hand, and if you weren't already petting her with your other hand when she was done licking, she looked supremely offended that you weren't petting or scratching her. She was a gorgeous little lady, and it was really nice to show my girlfriend and talk about my Moxxi. She was nearly perfect, but she did pee out of (and somehow underneath wtf) the litter box. Having her in my life was worth every single time she ever peed on anything outside of the litter box. She had a lot of love to give, and I'm glad I got to talk about her. I'm eventually getting all the paw prints, to keep them with me forever
