I just finished Star Ocean: Second Evolution on PSP and something weird happened in my playthrough.

Spoilers ahead
I played Rena’s route, and right before the final dungeon there was a scene where Rena and Ashton confessed their love to each other.

But then after beating the final boss, I got an ending scene where Rena tells Claude that she’s pregnant with his child. I also got a final scene with Ashton and Precis together.

I’m so confused. Is this normal?

If it matters, I missed most of the PAs on Expel, but I tried to do almost all of them on Energy Nede.
