I’m sharing this because I’ve hit a wall with both of them after placing an order at the official Adidas eBay store and providing my full shipping information formatted as Mar [freight forwarder identifier] [my first name] Gutiérrez. However, Adidas printed an incomplete label at their warehouse, completely cutting out the middle details and showing only Mar Gutiérrez. Because of this merchant error, the package arrived without my account identifier, sat in unassigned inventory, and was permanently lost.
Adidas is deeply at fault here, not just for mangling the label, but for giving me the runaround every time I contacted them. Their support only gave automated responses asking if I checked properly, claiming they would file a claim with FedEx, and doing absolutely nothing to actually solve the problem. Now eBay keeps closing my cases with generic template responses about their freight forwarder policy, completely ignoring that Adidas caused this entire issue. I’ve attached the photo of the truncated label alongside my original order details—is there any escalation path left, or is a chargeback my only option at this point?
Hey everyone, looking for some insight here. I’ve bought from the official Adidas store on eBay twice recently, and both times the tracking showed delivered to my freight forwarder, but the packages never actually arrived.
Before blaming the forwarder: I’ve used this same address for 4+ years and over 100 orders across Amazon, Adidas.com, Fosiil, Finish Line, and 20+ other eBay purchases. I have never had a single missing package—except for these two exact orders from Adidas on eBay.
Given my forwarder's perfect record with every other seller, what could be going on here? Is there a known issue with how Adidas eBay handles their fulfillment or tracking scans?
