Hi everyone,

I’m looking to add factory cruise control to my dad's 2014 Nissan Titan S (base model, first generation).
I've been doing some research and found the OEM Cruise Control Retrofit Kit on Z1 Off-Road. However, Z1 has a couple of warning notes for the 2014–2015 models that got me second-guessing:

1. Wiring: They mention that not all base 2014-2015 models are pre-wired from the factory.

• I still need to verify if the factory harness connector is hanging near the brake pedal.

1. ECU Flash: Z1 also states that 2014-2015 trucks might have the cruise control function locked in the ECU, requiring an UpRev flash to enable it.

For those who have done this retrofit on a Titan (2014 or 2015):

• Is the ECU flash absolutely mandatory for the 2014 S model, or is there a chance it will work plug-and-play once the OEM switches and brake cancel switch are installed?

I want to make sure I don't buy the OEM kit only to find out I need a $400 UpRev tuner just to activate a couple of buttons.

Any insight or past experiences with 2014-2015 base models would be greatly appreciated!
