[Sammon] The Mets are promoting Émilien Pitre to Triple-A Syracuse.

He was one of the three prospects New York acquired from the Rays for Freddy Peralta at the deadline. Pitre was slashing .417/.410/.417 for Binghamton in 36 ABs, with 15 hits to only 2 strikeouts. He joins Elian Peña in receiving a somewhat aggressive promotion today.
