Anyone bought notes from ISA before? My evaluation is SLOPPY
Has anyone bought script notes from ISA before? I did back in March, didn’t receive the notes until a couple days ago, around a month after they said the notes would be done, and they are… Bad. It’s one thing to have criticism, that I would actually welcome, but they’re just plain sloppy.
A character, Lauren, is referred to as Laura throughout the evaluation. In addition, multiple other characters names are continually misspelled, “Paro" is spelled as Pano at times, “Matty" sometimes as Maddie, and the character “J." as Jay intermittently. In addition, the character “J”, who is non-binary, a fact which is referenced and important in the script, is consistently misgendered, being referred to with “he/him” pronouns.
There are also misspellings and sentences which just plain make no sense like: "Everybody can banter and compete quickly and effectively, and that prank once they all settle in after not being in the house that long.” OR "This is a story about murders and the different characters who investigate and highlight scenarios in life that need to be examined to uncover the truth behind the intense situations unfolding around them.”
Has anyone else had this experience? I worry they just ran it through AI. Either way, I want to warn other writers not to waste their time with their notes service!
