Customer service culture shock
I read on here a lot people talking about how bad the customer service is in stores: associates are mean, ignore you, the store is a mess, the clothes have makeup on them/ are torn. I lived in Michigan and never once experienced that. That’s part of why I kept shopping there over the years was how much I loved how helpful the employees were and how kind they were.
I moved to the DC area and finally made my way to the Tysons store. Oh my god…….I’m pretty sure their commission there must be based on how many people they can straight up ignore and speak to with the fewest words possible. The store was a damn mess too. I found four pieces I wanted to buy but purchased them online after I walked out. It was like being in wet seal circa 2006. It also was in the middle of the day so not busy hours.
So I’m not sure if it’s Midwest to east coast or the Michigan store being significantly larger but I’ll never go back in person to Tysons-yikes.
