I die to Sprinters because I can't equip a weapon when they're all up in my business... what am I doing wrong?
If a Sprinter gets the jump on me and I'm unequipped, I'm dead. Even standing still and spamming a key from 1 to 4, I never equip while he's doing damage. Dodging away gives me less than a second before he's back in close quarters, and sprinting away I don't gain any distance on him.
There's got to be a way to handle this, but I haven't found it so far (and of course I just lost 2 hours of progress). Anyone got a solve? Next time I'll try dodging over and over again... maybe I can build up a 4-5 second lead and have time to equip. Maybe the machete is fastest to equip? Anyway, thanks. I'm not playing 0.8 yet.
