I don't know what the hell happened, but I was roaming in a radiation zone and suddenly I got blown to pieces.
Anyways, I love this game, and I will continue playing it on permadeath, THIS IS THE WAY.
Ive tried to start a few runs on the current version and its crashed 3 or so times over the past two nights. it always opens the crash report for unity and everything. ive tried lowering settings just in case something’s wrong there but no help.
specs are high enough that this game should run crazy good:

I'm going to get downvoted to hell and back for this but somebody needs to say it. The amount of shaft polishing this dev receives for inactivity is comical. If the game was free I could agree with the patience and support, but this dev made a fortune and BS'd each of us just like any cash grab AAA gaming company would.
"HE's jUSt OnE guY" I guess it's ok if you're getting shafted by one dude vs a big company right? Get real. Nobody is holding this guy accountable, on top of that many are ENCOURAGING HIS INACTIVITY, and that's why all of you will be sitting here waiting forever for the game to be finished, just like myself.
Mark my words, 0.8 will be THE LAST UPDATE this game receives.

How do you "STORAGE"? Its crazy storage-ception.
So I have been playing a fair bit and have been doing some base cleanup. When I was moving my disassembly table I noticed I had quite a few items still in the inventory so I decided against moving it. Well a few minutes later and I was not paying attention I selected to pickup the table and move it. When opening up the table to view the inventory after moving it there was nothing there. I tested this out a few times and it happened every time. You can select the table , selected pickup and then place the table. Anything you left in the tables inventory will be deleted. I suspect this may the case with any movable container
I highly suggest making a pop-up saying cannot move container until fully empty. I lost a lot of resources because of this.
I was watching The Mighty Jingles play this game, so I decided to get it and I have to say I'm not disappointed. It's been really fun running around finding stuff and dying along the way a few times, but once I started getting weapons and ammo, the loot started flowing, and I even got myself a S.W.A.T vain to put all my stuff In When not at my base, I'm still building it up.
no humvee even tho i have been to all the military sites and fobs but here are all the other cars i have stored at my base

I am watching some playthrough for 0.8, and noticing some bugs.
For example:
Frag grenade don't kill zombies
Zombies limbs are stretching when they die
Fixed vehicles still smoking
Quest marks from Intel laptop don't disappear after clearing quests
Since the playthrough was from 5 months ago, I wonder how stable 0.8 has became now.
I have almost all slots filled, but I can't find any attachment that goes into the last middle slot on the Lechie sniper
Now I got the All Access Keycard, I can finally sell the lesser ones and make some money.
I had the game briefly a while ago and refunded it.
Is it worth it to play in 2026 right now? Im not a fan of aimless walking, i need some sort of objective.
It’s 11.99 so it’s not a terrible price but before ai spend just want thoughts.
EDIT: let me change my question… is it worth the 11.99 or should I wait for a sale?
