Jedi 3 GL/Legendary Cal

With Jedi 3 rumored to release late next year, which is also the 50th anniversary of Star Wars, I could see a new version of Cal coming the following year, in 2028. I'm sure in 2027 itself we'll get some kind of OT era. But I'm curious, do you see Cal as someone worthy of a GL at this time? Or, since he's rumored to meet Luke in Jedi 3, do you think if he did something bigger in that game, would he then be what you imagine for a GL?

If you were to ask me who should be a GL before I played this game, I would've said Vader, Obi-Wan, Palpatine, Han, Yoda, Mace Windu, etc. Never in a bajillion years would I have guessed a few of them we've actually gotten. But with that said, I don't really care about that part and I'm fine with whatever they release.

So my question is: do you currently think just another legendary Cal would be boring, would the game have to go a SUPER interesting direction for another Cal to be meaningful, and would you be severely disappointed if we got GL Cal before some other characters you like?

Which Episode Do You Find the Most Magical?

In other words, which episode truly draws you into the show and makes you feel like you could go there? Does any episode do this anywhere near as well as Ch. 1, The Mandalorian?

It seems like a pretty popular take to say that Ch. 15, The Believer, is the best/people’s favorite episode. However, I can’t say I have anywhere near the intense interest or emotional connection to that particular episode even if I do think it’s INCREDIBLY done.

I think for emotional appeal there’s a lot to be said about the end of season 2, The Rescue. Seeing Luke, especially seeing Moff Gideon be terrified of him, obviously invokes that feeling of nostalgia and it’s followed by a scene that now makes me cry as a dad when Din removes his helmet for Grogu. But I think you could argue that since it is dealing with such heavy themes, it loses at least some of that ‘magic,’ as I’ve called it, no? It seems like Ch. 1 just does such a good job drawing you in with showing how cool of a lone fighter (basically space Batman though he sometimes loses and I like him better than Batman) and how aloof Din is.

It also gives us one of the coolest Star Wars characters ever in my opinion—Kuill. I think Kuill is one of the most underutilized characters of all time. I know it might’ve been forced if they decided to include him anymore, but man, The Mandalorian easily has the best supporting cast of ANY Star Wars project other than Andor in my opinion. Even IG-11 is enough to hook me. Even space bounty hunter Carl Weathers is enough to hook me. Even Werner Herzog as the client is truly spectacular. Even the enigma of The Armorer really hooks me! I can’t get over, all these years later, how much I love Ch. 1.
