The Mandalorian hooked me to get into Star Wars

I've watched all six episodes before watching The Force Awakence in theatre back 2015 but I never been hooked until now after I started watching The Mandalorian recently, I just like exploring the world this way with the slow pace and episodic adventures, getting to know the characters, places and lore without the highstakes. I recently met Ahsoka in 2×5 (I'm familiar with the hype around her back when she debuted in live action) so I decided to go back and watch The Clone Wars and other animated series (at least essential ones before picking up The Mandalorian) can I just watch with release date order or there's a certain order. Also what are other series you would recommend to watch after, i heard great things about Andor (I actually really liked Rogue One) would be really helpful if anyone can help with the watching order.

Future of Mandalorian subfranchise?

Sorry if this conversation has been done to death, but with the movie underperforming at the box office and Disney seeming to want to limk their live action TV footprint, what’s the future of the Mandalorian? When might we know?

Bo Katan / Darksaber plot hole?

I’m going thru the series for a fourth time, in preparation to watch the movie once it comes to Disney+ and I still don’t understand something.

In Chapter 18: The Mines of Mandalore, Din Djarin is captured by a creature who removes the Darksaber from him. Bo Katan later comes to rescue him and defeats this same creature, using the Darksaber to do it. Yet Din Djarin still holds the Darksaber. Why didn’t Katan keep it, since she fulfilled the code of winning the Darksaber in combat?

EDIT: I recognize she is given the saber in Chap 22, but my question is why did she need reminding how the code works? Why didn’t she keep it after freeing Djarin?

Have you used this word "This is the way" before "The Mandalorian" was broadcast?

Hi everyone! I'm Japanese. The other day, I watched "The Mandalorian" on Disney +. In the drama, Mandalorians frequently say "This is the way." Was this word coined for this drama? or did it already exist?
