Rewatching BoBF Episode 5, and I’d like to Gush over how this is my Favorite Mandalorian episode EVER.

I mean I remember seeing this episode when it came out, and being just geeked out by everything it had to offer. As a self-proclaimed Diehard Mando fan, this episode had me eating Good:

For Starters, I LOVE how this episode was filmed, there’s so many cool shots and stills, it was just Beautiful. And such clever little things, like Grogu’s armor being wrapped in a little Yoda shaped Knot.

We also get a TON of Mandalorian History/Culture
-Armorer tells us the Tale of Bo Katan and her part in the Fall of Mandalore
- Actually get to see a little bit of the Night of a Thousand Tears
- Darksaber, in both its history, and significance of seeing Din wield it, whether he was proficient or not, it gave me the crazy hope that Din Djarin would be the one to Rule Mandalore. Which in itself I had a great case for.
- It was also nice hearing the Armorer speak Mando’a when Training din, which is rare and I really wish we heard more of.

The rest of the episode with Peggy aswell just had the perfect sense of Wars Disney humor, and I feel like I all had a little bit of anxiety if Din was going to lose the Darksaber getting off of his flight.

Then the NOSTALGIA BOMB that they hit us with when they revealed the Naboo Starfighter, my mind was absolutely BLOWN!! I completely understand the Mandalorian’s love for the Razor Crest as it’s honestly one of my Favorite Star Wars ships, but the Mando’s N1 instantly became iconic, and how could it not? It’s beautiful, it’s like a souped up Silver Corvette Stingray. Just wow. And watching him fly it through Beggars Canyon, just awesome. Dare I say, Wizard.

So yeah, that’s my Shpeel on Episode 5 of BoBF, which is in my opinion, my favorite piece of Mandalorian media we have out there, let me know what your favorite Mando Episode is. I just know that with the Movie coming out tomorrow, no matter how bad/good it is, I’m coming home and putting this Episode on.

What I want to see

I’m going to see the movie later tonight and here’s a small list of things I would like to see (please no spoilers if you’ve already seen it)

  1. Boba fett
  2. Rotta CW flash backs
  3. Grogu seeing Yoda
  4. Manny Jacinto was at the premiere for some reason 🤔 Some “ancient sith helmet” is found and force flash back ( I know it’s a stretch to still)

I know it’s a short list but yeah

My review of The Mandalorian season 1

I just finished rewatching The Mandalorian season 1. It was as good as I remember. The standalone episodes with Din learning how to be a better person and a better father work really well. The action, acting, story, music, and characters were all really great. 9/10.

Now I’m going to watch the first two episodes of The Mandalorian season 2. And then I’m going go to bed. It’s crazy that I already finished rewatching The Mandalorian season 1 in one day.

I was not excepting that. Especially since I started it on a whim. So I didn’t start it until 6:00 PM. I just thought I would watch a few episodes today. That’s just what happens sometimes lol.

Imax 3d or 2d?

Should I see the movie in 3d? My local theater is Opry Mills so it's great but not GT 3d I believe. Recent reviews for John Favreau 3d conversions were good but I typically watch just 2d, recently saw tron in 3d and was blown away

Just saw the Mandalorian movie, ask me anything (spoiler free)

In general i liked it.

I feel like people who like solo will like this movie, it is just a fun harmless final adventure with mando and grogu.

I like all 3 seasons of the show but never plan on rewatching it.

I think this movie offers kind of the best quality and fulfils the fantasy of a badass bounty hunter and cute little sidekick and because it is a standalone adventure i think i would rather rewatch this than the show.

For me the biggest problem is arguably that there is no real character arc, mando and grogu have all their character development in the show and this movie really is just a standalone adventure (a strength and weakness at the same time).

So yeah some people will call it weak or hollow but tbh, i had a good time. The way the movie looks and sounds really made me realize star wars is kinda the only franchise left that really plays and advanced the stopmotion, puppet and cgi because i love how everything moves and looks in this movie.

Idk, the Movie made me realize that i just like mando and grogu and it is kinda unfair that they got the job to save star wars which is just impossible but i think they are the one of the best thing we got out of the last Decade of star wars and still make me smile.

Don't watch The Mandalorian and Grogu in 3D (no spoilers)

I don't know if it was just my theatre, but I feel like the movie was a bit dimly lit so the 3D seemed to not work that well

However could just be my theatre! Please enjoy the movie any which way you choose!!

Just thought I'd put it out there for anyone who was considering, it also doesn't seem to make much use of the 3D either

Enjoy the movie!

Mandalorian and Grogu

I have a request to viewers of the Mandalorian and Grogu movie. My little sister (15F) who has Autism, really wants to see the movie. However, she is very upset by the word Brain. I was hoping to see if there is a way anyone who has seen it early on could let me know?? She really, really wants to see it so I want to make it possible for her if doable. Thanks so much!!
