Close call- double check your names on your tickets immediately after purchase

Somehow one of our tickets had my name again and likely due to the name auto-populate feature. No idea what went wrong but maybe I clicked back to check on things and the name changed etc. Only 6 days until flight and texted United to get a name change to my mom's but they couldn't do it because they only allow it when misspelled. Thought I was looking at a $640 ticket now for a 3hr flight. Called United directly planning to refund that ticket but they confirmed a few things and said it was an obvious error on our part and was able to change the name. Saved.

Did they screw over us OG players with inflation?

Been around since the days of free buffets which was over a decade ago and there were a couple of years I played religiously everyday and recall discussing with people on facebook how we haven't missed a day in months if not a year. So it feels like I spent at least a decade (on and off) accumulating to the amount of 34 billion chips. Come today, I logged in to the shock of 100M minimum bets and my balance is being drained by the billions in minutes when that took years to accumulate. They basically devalued our hard earnings but oh well, just a game right?

Raising Cane's- seeing what the 'hype' is about

Seeing ShoPhoCho eating this twice had me just thinking of it. Then seeing Post Malone on Mythical Kitchen saying this is part of his last meal was the last straw and bit the bullet. It's good and fun to eat finger food and can see how young ppl would love it, but it's nothing special to the degree of being a last meal and (hint hint) you can just go buy a bag of tenders at Costco and fries from Whole Foods and air fry them and I swear it tastes just as good minus the sauce.

California coast is a reminder why it's great here and a place you can take a short drive to escape the heat

Took a half hour drive to Laguna Niguel and you get this cold ocean breeze like opening a fridge. Envy those who live right on the coast basically getting free A/C. Really no other cooler place in the U.S. during the summer than the West coast. Don't do this enough but the breeze seemed to provide endorphins too.

Found an old comment comparing Vegas heat to So Cal with a surprisingly handful of upvotes. If Vegas actually felt 20 degrees cooler than So Cal, RE prices would say otherwise.

Is the area of Duluth, MN an interesting place to visit coming from someone from So Cal?

This place was recommended after a few prompts as I wanted some place cool in August to visit that has decent nature along with city vibe. The pictures of Duluth I saw online doesn't seem to do justice to make me want to visit right off the bat honestly but wondering what I'm missing. I've seen all the beaches in Cali, nature in PNW and diverse places like Colorado. What will Duluth and the surrounding area provide that makes it different or worthwhile based on my past experiences? Enough state parks and interesting downtowns to check out? Never been to the Midwest so that whole culture there interests me. Have been to Texas and San Antonio and Austin was awesome.

Wait, so there's currently no credit given for the (backlogged) physical PS4/5 disc games you have that you're hoping to play on PS6?

I actually sold my PS5 but still have a few physical games left and thought of the possibility of playing it on the PS6 but with the recent news, it would make sense for them to give you digital credits for these games on the newest system. From this perspective, I see why ppl are outraged now.

Animal style fries is what ppl usually talk about but found out about just asking to add grilled onions and spread at no extra charge and find this way tastes even better imo

The sweet caramelized onions on fries alone is a game changer. Never knew they tasted so sweet without anything else covering it. Had me going to INO 3x in a week! And still craving it lol

Automate taking screenshots of pdf files and pasting to excel workbooks- lower resolution hurdle

I've done my research and seems like without 3rd party pdf tools and within the restriction of a non IT dept, the only way to automate this through VBA is by 1st converting the pdf's to PNG files but this step only saves at lower resolution (i.e at 96 DPI where a normal pdf is at 300 DPI) where you have no control over. Can anyone confirm this is the only way to save pdf screenshots (at lower resolution) into Excel if you're trying to automate doing this to a whole batch of pdf's? My goal was to maintain the 300 DPI but worked thru various alternatives that couldn't do that.

Like others have said, sauce is off. Get yourself some soy sauce & Sriracha and/or hot mustard.

I just found a YouTube channel called Path of Exile Builds that goes into detail on their builds including their pros and cons/str & weaknesses & cost for the build etc. I haven't seen a website include all this info which I find is just as relevant, or at least not a one stop shop for dozens of builds all in one place like with D4. Or what comes closest to this as I find myself just randomly finding links to specific builds but would feel more comfortable if everything is tightly organized and leads to one central location if you get what I mean?
