Which Vegas restaurant rewards are really just a credit?

For example I have heard the comp starter at Best Friend is really just a $15 credit and you don't really have order an entree, same for the Appetizer at public house. I know the Public House one was true in the past, not sure if it is now or not. Any others like this?

NCL Alaskan Cruise Help?

Hi everyone! Long time lurker, first time poster.

I recently snagged the 7-day Alaskan NCL cruise from myvegas and I'm having a hard time doing the math. We, husband and I, got two different estimates on the NCL website (state room and ocean view) and the estimates were coming out to be ~$2057-2217 total (we're doing the FAS/specialty dining).

Imagine my surprise when talking to the agent and they said the total cost would end up being ~$2k...even with the comp!

Does that sound right?? I asked for a breakdown, which the agent was able to send, but even if we did the stateroom + removed the travel protection we'd be looking at $1800.

I guess I'm at a loss since it sounded great at the time, but looking at the numbers makes me question whether it's actually worth it or not. The only way we could make this a "inexpensive" trip would be by doing a bare-bones reservation...

Does anyone else have experience with this? Are my expectations too high? I appreciate any and all insight!

Thank you!

When should I redeem my room comp if I am traveling in September?

Pretty much as the title says, I am traveling to Vegas mid September and will be redeeming for the mgm grand most likely and was about wondering if I should go ahead and get the comp now or how that works? It's my first time redeeming anything so I'm nervous.

Thanks!

NCL Alaska Comp Cruise

I just redeemed for the comped cruise to Alaska. The comped room is a inside stateroom. Are we able to choose the room? I am seeing $769 for inside state room and $739 for Guarantee Inside. I am trying to figure out if the $600 off is a better value considering I wouldnt have to pay the $20 pp/pd admin fee.

Tier Increases

hey yall. i’ve been playing myvegas slots for a little over a year and have redeemed probably 6 or so free room rewards within that timeframe. i play pretty often and max out my points availability at least 5 days a week. level 770/5. and i make purchases maybe once every couple of months. the highest tier i’ve gotten to is 3, but i’ve even gotten down to 1 if i forget to play for a day or 2. what does a girl gotta do to tier up??

I'm new to redeeming cruises on here, and I'm trying to understand this. I got the $1000 5-night rate. It says it's double occupancy rate, but does that really mean the 5-night cruise is $1000 + port taxes and fees for both or per person?

I mocked out the itinerary on the VV website and it came to almost $3600 for the same itinerary for two.

Thanks for the help.

Hi guys, so i just really came across the whole myvegas thing and just had a question. Lets say the cruise i would like to book, is advertised on their website at 2000$ as it is labeled at 50% off (as ncl seems to always do they always have a sale) When I go to book with casinos at sea, with a 600$ off reward, will that be 600$ off of that 50% off price of 2000$ or would it be 600$ off the original $4000. Im assuming it would be off of the $2000, as otherwise it wouldnt make much sense but I just want to be sure before I dedicate my time to getting the reward. Additionally, these are stackable with cruisefirst certificates correct?

A little confused by the wording. If I purchase one of these, and go to book my room, how discounted is it? Trying to see if this makes more sense versus purchasing the 25% off room rate as you cant even use it for any weekend stay.
The game play just says it needs to be three nights in a row, doesnt matter what day.
Anyone have an insight?
