Normally a person with Pearl status gets free parking at MGM Properties. But, what happens on days that the Raiders or VGK have games, and they have “event parking?”

Does Pearl still park for free, or are you charged for the event?

I've got a graphic that I want to group several layers together so that they move in unison when I drag them around the image.

First thing I do is create an empty Layers group.

Then I try and move a layer to that empty group.

But, when I drag one of the layers onto the Layer Group it just drops back to where it is located in the Layers panel on the right side.

Same thing happens if I try a different layer instead.

I've got a 1st Generation Roku Ultra hooked up to my bedroom TV, and today when I turned it on, it seems to be stuck in a loop of "App Update" coming up, then repeating about every 3-5 seconds. It's done this for a couple of dozen times now, and is still going on.

As it stands I cannot select any of the apps to watch anything right now. However, if I click on one of the hardcoded buttons, such as YouTube, the app does come up. I get the "App Update" message over the top of the YouTube app, and then it lets me watch videos.

But, the moment I go back to the Homescreen I get the "App Update" loop again.

Suggestions on what to do?

I've got about 110 channel apps on the unit. But, they're stored on a microSD card. Surely it's not trying to update those one at a time?

Getting back in the scheme of things and have been playing the remaining apps to earn points.

What kind of bets are people rolling in MyVegas Blackjack to make it worth it since you have to manually push the bet button to actually play?

Also, I’m a little confused. Do you get both Tier points, as well as Loyalty points? I’ve seen references to both ways.

I’m pushing 8.5m Loyalty points so if they’re not giving Tier points it’s not worth my effort just to mine more Loyalty points at this time.

Been awhile since I’ve used any points for comps so I’m a little rusty.

When I go online all the comps I’ve seen are saying redeem by August 22nd. But, I see the comp room calendars are published through the end of the year. Granted, I think they’re an unofficial source. But, still…

My question is regarding the redeem by that’s listed. Can I buy a comp room (which says through August 22nd, and then use it for a room date in mid-November? Or do I need to wait until the fine print says must be redeemed by December 31st (or some other date towards the end of the year?)?

Also, when is the “refresh” typically in the Fall? Comps seem to be a little thin these days.

I’m going be in Las Vegas in mid-November and so went to look at rewards. But, everything currently available seems to need to be used no later than August 22nd.
I know they don’t have an official calendar when things get refreshed. But, figured I’d ask when people think the calendar for the rest of the year will probably be released?

I'm going to be in town the week before F1 this season, and one of the party said he wants to cruise the Strip that Saturday night. As I was thinking about it, F1 is happening the week after we are there, so that means the track will pretty much be assembled by then.

What's pedestrian traffic like on the Strip when the track is fully up; especially in the section over by the Bellagio and Caesars? Can you even walk on the Strip at that time, or are they funneling people through the casinos walkways?

And what's the elevator situation like? One of the party likes to use his mobility scooter to move around. Will he be severely impacted because of the track?

Driving me nuts.

I had a problem with the tool windows disappearing so I did a reset of the GIMP gui recently. Also did an update around the same time.

Now, the tool an dialog boxes are not crashing (at least so far). But, the text in the dialog boxes and tools is insanely small. Probably 4px if I was to gander a guess!

Is there something I need to reset to get it back to normal?

Normally we have someone running ProPresenter on a second computer on the network, and then I have an NDI source within OBS, which captures whatever the person is using on the other computer.

In talking with our pastor today he expressed an interest to be able to switch slides himself, as opposed to relying on someone else to do it.

I looked around the WWW a short bit, and there's a mention of also being able to use NDI from a device, such as in iPad.

The only thing I see on the NDI Tools website is the NDI Capture plugin, which costs $9.99. It also looks like that is a simple screen capture option, so it's literally capturing whatever the iPad has on their screen. Am I accurate in that assumption?

To make things more complicated, we have a Sony projector that normally sends the images from ProPresenter out to the sanctuary. We have NDI Tools set up on the other laptop to send signals to both my video MacBook Pro (which is running OBS) and the projector.

Is there a way to recreate this setup so that the pastor could send his Keynote presentation to me, as well as the laptop running ProPresenter? Or, might this be an option:

iPAD running Keynote --> MBP running ProPresenter --> Video MBP which accepts a signal via NDI Tools

The two MBP are on a gigabit network, and the dias where the pastor speaks is fairly close to the router, in case there's not a way to hardwire his iPad into the network.

I’m helping someone set up their new computer and ran into a problem with Quo.

First problem is it won’t let me use the password the user created. We do a password reset and it says it’s sending an email for the reset. But, that never arrives.

If I use the Send Code feature when trying to log in with her iPhone, the six digit code is received, and it logs into her account just fine.

HOWEVER, if I install the Mac desktop app on her computer and use the Send Code feature it logs her in and immediately says “Here’s your new number!!” and asks me if I want it. At this point I backed out because we don’t want a new number, or possibly lose the currently established one.

I duplicated this behavior on my MacBook and iPhone too, so it’s not as if it’s only in her computer.

I tried the AI chatbot inside the iPhone app and it basically said it didn’t know why I was being sent to the signup screen.

A trouble ticket has been opened. But, since they haven’t answered he first ticket 17 hours later I’m dubious how this one will be received.

Anybody else have this issue? Did you get it resolved?

Both computers are updated to the latest version of macOS Tahoe.

We're using OBS currently, and are aiming at posting our sermons to both Vimeo and YouTube. Right now, I'm recording/streaming to Vimeo; which is something we've done for several years now. Now we want to add YouTube to the mix.

I went to install the OBS-Multi-RTMP plugin. But, it's confusing. 0.73.2 is listed as the main version. But, I'm not seeing any download links for Apple Silicon or a universal binary. I do see a link to 0.73.0. I'd much rather install the latest plugin, so I don't have to upgrade next week. I also see references to pre-release 0.74.0 with no binary downloads.

Plus, in reading comments I see people saying they're not able to get 0.73.2 working with OBS v32.x.

Has the latest version been yanked from use?

Not looking for suggestions to use Atrium; or some other paid service for streaming.

Bought my used 2010 Lexus RX450h a few years ago, and the tread is starting to get shallow, after putting about 30k on the Pirelli Scorpion Verde All-Season tires that came with the vehicle (vehicle is at 116k total).

I've been very happy with the performance I've received on the Pirelli tires; especially in heavy rains. The one thing I haven't really done is take them to the snow.

But, with that said, I've been looking at other brands. The Bridgestone Blizzak and UltraWeather tires carry 80k mile warrantees, and are less expensive. Plus, the latter has the 3PMSF rating along with the M+S, so it's actually rated for snowy conditions. There's also the Michelin CrossClimate 2 to consider.

Am I giving up performance in rainy conditions by going with the higher snow rated tire? The Pirelli tires are about $30ish more per tire. In the scheme of things is $100-120 per set in the scheme of things?

What other brands/models are people using that gives them really good performance in rain, with some trips to the snow/ice country?

FWIW: My tire size is the bigger 235/55R19 that came as an option on the vehicle

I'm trying to find a game schedule I can sync with my iPhone in either Google or iCal format. I tried using the one from the CFL website. But, it just sits there spinning, and there's no popup it says I should be seeing. Then I try using the link if I don't see the popup, and still nothing happens. 😞

I just started watching Star City last week. I purposely waited for the final season 5 episode of For All Mankind, and plan on watching one Star City episode each Friday, so I can stretch it out. :-)

Without spoilers, what’s your thought about Star City? Was it planned as a one season wonder, or is it going to run multiple seasons if enough fans watch it?

The first episode seemed pretty slow to me, though maybe that was the USSR Iron Curtain atmosphere making me feel that way.

Found out today I’ll be in Vegas for the Raiders/Seahawks game in November 14th. As it happens the CFL’s Grey Cup starts at 4pm the same day (about when the Raiders game ends).

Looking for suggestions on a good Sportsbook to head over to once the Raiders game is over, where there’s a good chance of having the Canadian “Super Bowl” available. Extra points if they’ll have more betting options than simply who will win the game. I suppose Fremont Street is an option too if there’s nothing in the Strip.

It is so annoying that Facebook Dating basically forces to to make a decision; swipe left or right; to be able to get to the next profile. It’s all based on a knees jerk reaction.

There are some profiles I like. But, the proximity is what I’m debating about.

Then there was the circumstance the other day where I looked at one that checked all the boxes (including proximity) and a put my phone down to take care of something. I had left her profile open on the screen. But, when I came back to my phone and unlocked it, it opened to my normal Facebook profile. That person hasn’t come up again (yet there’s one person who has come up multiple times in the last week that I haven’t swiped on).

There should be a way to save a profile for future consideration. It can disappear if they see you and hit the big X button).

We are having nothing but issues with using NDI during our services as of late so I’m investigating other methods of getting graphics from our slides computer to the video streaming computer.

Searching around I found a new protocol called Open Media Transport. It’s supported in OBS; which is what I’m using to stream our services. But, I’m not seeing any indication ProPresenter supports it for sending info.

Using latest versions of both ProPresenter and OBS on MacBook Pros running the latest version of macOS Tahoe.

Anybody know if Monday’s pressing game vs Calgary going to be streamed at all?

The CFL schedule shows no coverage at all. :-(
