Just a question, please: when Mando handed Grogu over to Luke for Jedi training (and it’s clear they were both really struggling with it), was it actually intended at the time that Grogu would be gone for good, or did Mando know how many years such training takes? Or did he think he was handing Grogu over to his people for good? Of course he wanted to visit him at some point, but it strikes me that they both thought it was a farewell for ever.

Wouldn’t it actually be considered normal, for example, now that Grogu has been officially adopted, for Mando to take off his helmet in front of his own son? Yes, perhaps not on camera – I mean, for example, at home. Do the Mandalorians also wear their helmets in front of their wives, partners and children at home?

Have you read any further information on this subject? Just curious. Thanks.

Grogu – I’m fascinated by how Grogu has formed such a strong and swift bond with Mando. Did his Force help him realise who he would belong to? Was it prophesied beforehand, or something like that? He couldn’t possibly have known that Mando would protect him, especially after he briefly gave Grogu away and took his bounty. After all, it wasn’t clear that Mando would come back to rescue him and keep him. That’s not really part of his job, is it? So I wonder whether Grogu’s future was prophesied or something similar, and he was just waiting for it to happen. Did the Jedi who rescued him know this, and is that why they freed him – so they could go in search of Mando?!

This is just a normal fan post; I hope it doesn’t hurt anyone’s feelings. Hope it doesn’t create chaos like my last post. Thank you.

I’m fairly new to this and, unfortunately, started watching the series a bit late – though I’d already seen the film at the cinema, of course! I’m fascinated and love both the series and the film. I’m now a huge fan of Mando & Grogu and I’m busy sharing and liking everything! I love Mando as a dad and little DIN Grogu.

I’ve been rewatching the series from the start over and over again for days. I’ve got loads of questions, but one in particular is about Mando and Shian. I find her rather unlikeable, of course. But what do you think happened here?! Was she Mando’s lover? Did she ever see him without his helmet? What’s the story behind those strange comments?! And when she sees Grogu, she says, ‘I wouldn’t have expected that from you’. Do you have any more information on this? Thanks.
