Is there a recommended wait time between completing a mortgage and making a credit card application?
I completed on my new home last Friday and I am looking into signing up from a BA/Avios credit card. Only to put my everyday spending on to an amount I could easily pay off at the end of each month to avoid any interest being accrued. I just want to start accruing some points to go towards travels in the future.
I am wondering if there is a generally recommended waiting period before I should apply, as I don’t really want to have a failed application sitting on my record either.
