My husband and I are trying to understand whether his salary is in line with the market in Vaud/Geneva.

He’s 40, has about 16 years of experience as an office/commercial employee (“employé de commerce”), has been with the same company for 13 years, and currently earns around CHF 90k gross/year.

We’re wondering: does that sound about right, or is he potentially underpaid?

For those working in similar roles in Vaud or Geneva, would you mind sharing:

1. roughly how much you earn (monthly or yearly gross)?
2. how many years of experience you have?
3. what industry/sector you work in (finance, healthcare, industry, public sector, etc.)?
4. what kind of company (SME, multinational, etc.)?

Also: do your employers usually give annual raises (even small ones for inflation), or is it common in Switzerland to go several years without any salary increase?

Just trying to get a realistic picture of the market!
