Finally decided on a cheeky dupe pattern, how to make it a bit more similar?

I'm attempting to make something similar to the toast orla donegal sweater and think that this drops midnight glow sweater might be the best dupe pattern.

Thinking that I'll make the ribbing a bit different (1x1) and omit the ribbing on the bottom. Are there any other considerations for making the drops pattern a bit more similar to the orla sweater?

Have just finished a pullover so I'm excited to get started on this, hopefully I'll be done before it starts getting warm again (winter is just coming on in my country!)

Help! How to knit ribbed collar inside out

I'm making a vest and have knitted the armhole ribbing inside out to make it look tidy as the back of my ribbing always looks nicer than the front.

I'd like to knit the collar ribbing inside out also, but it's a folded collar and I just can't wrap my head around it!

I've included the collar instructions below, can someone please help me understand how to translate this into knitting inside out? It's rounds 7-9 that I'm really confused about. Do I slip the stitches knit wise instead of purl wise? Any help would be much appreciated.

The rib edge at the neck is worked from stitches that are picked-up and knitted along the neck opening.

The rib edge is then folded double and either knitted or sewn down on the WS at the end.

Pick up and knit 90 (92) 92 (94) 98 (98) 102 (102) 102 (102) stitches with a 4 mm [US6] / 40 cm [16 inches]

circular needle along the neck opening. This is the approx. equivalent to picking up and knitting 1 stitch in

every stitch along the back of the neck, the front of the neck and along the slanted sides, and 2 stitches for

every 3 rows along the straight sides of the neck.

Work as follows:

Round 1-6: Work rib (knit 1 stitch, purl 1 stitch).

Round 7-9: * Knit 1, slip 1 stitch purl-wise with the yarn held in front *, repeat from * to * to end of round.

Round 10-13: Work rib (knit 1 stitch, purl 1 stitch).

Now the rib edge is knitted down by knitting every stitch of the next round together with a stitch from the

round where stitches were picked up and knitted, while at the same time binding off. Work as follows:

* Pick up a stitch from the round where stitches were picked-up and knitted and place it on the left needle.

Knit the picked up stitch together with the first stitch on the left needle. Pass the second stitch on the right

needle over the stitch that was just knitted (i.e. bind off the stitch). Knit 1 stitch. Pass the second stitch on

the right needle over the stitch that was just knitted (i.e. bind off the stitch). *

Hello! I'm considering getting an interchangable circular set of shorties (5cm) but I'm wondering, can I also achieve small circumference knitting with my 13cm interchangables by using magic loop? Would I be able to achieve the same result with either option? Would love to hear any considerations/your preferences!

(I should say I don't particularly like using DPNs)
