She cheated 10+ year ago but still feels fresh
Back in late 2014 my girlfriend (current) of 10 years since high school we have one kid together in that time (4 now)told me one day that she cheated with a guy she met online for the past 3-4 months with him and she wanted to break up that day and all she said was sorry I was in disbelief I couldn’t have imagined her
doing that at all but a couple days two weeks went by I found the guy who she was with on Facebook and he had a girlfriend so I messaged her and told her about the situation and then we ended up getting together sexually and then once they found out, they didn’t like it lol we were still living in the same apartment while all this was happening then one day she wanted to come back so I told her to end it with him over the phone which she denied and said she would want to do it in person cause we are not kids so she did that she went there ended up getting assaulted physically for wanting to break up with him and then came back home. Then time went on. She eventually stopped talking to him so I hope it’s been over 10+ years and it still feels fresh There are days when certain things bring up Old. Triggers of the cheating she hasn’t cheated since to my knowledge. I don’t know if she really changed or not. It’s hard to say once a cheater always a cheater it’s not if but when she’ll cheat again, has anyone else been through a similar situation?
