Throwaway account

I was looking for a job on indeed and came across this ad. It seems very ominous. Are the Feds predicting trouble, or worse, planning on causing trouble Summer and Fall 2026? Could this be connected to the midterms? I looked and the other jobs KDT has posted in indeed and there are 4 total: Portland OR, Eugene OR, Sacramento CA, and Missoula MT. interesting that they are all in the West, more liberal states, less Montana. Taking a look at the Knight Division Tactical (KDT) website doesn't make me feel any netter.

Job Overview Knight Division Tactical (KDT) is seeking disciplined, professional security personnel with military experience for upcoming U.S. Federal Government crisis relief missions. These operations involve providing security for critical infrastructure across the U.S. West Coast, supporting large-scale crisis relief efforts from Summer through Fall.

Military Experience We are specifically looking for candidates with military backgrounds to ensure the high level of discipline and operational readiness required for these federal missions.

Licensing Requirements

• All applicants must possess a valid state security guard card.
• Possession of active Oregon guard card.

Physical Training (PT) Standards Selected candidates must be capable of meeting the following rigorous performance metrics:

• 2-Mile Run: Under 17 minutes.
• Pull-ups: 10 repetitions.
• Hand-release push-ups: 30 repetitions within 2 minutes.
• Deadlifts: 3 repetitions at 225 lbs.
• 3-Mile Ruck: 45 lb load, under 15 minutes per mile.

Compensation & Benefits

• Daily Rate: $400 USD - $750 USD per day.
• Benefits: Reimbursement for mileage driven during the contract.

Pay: $400.00 - $750.00 per day
