I hand-made a set of custom, quiet Rock Band themed drum silencer pads for 8" E-Kits and stock controllers!

I wanted to share a project I've been working on for the community. The plastic "clack" on stock kits (and even standard rubber e-kit pads) has always driven me crazy during late-night sessions, and finding vintage official silencer pads that aren't completely rotted out or incredibly expensive is almost impossible now.
So, I decided to make my own!
These are custom-crafted 8" circular pads featuring a heavy-duty polyester fabric top weave with the iconic lanes layout and a dense 3mm rubber core underneath. They act as awesome shock absorbers and heavily mute the strike noise while keeping a really nice, responsive rebound.
They are a perfect drop-in fit for standard 8-inch e-kit pads (Alesis, Yamaha, Roland) and stock RB drums. Because they are fresh blanks, they don't have adhesive backing, but a tiny bit of double-sided tape or mounting squares holds them perfectly in place.
