Made this for myself back in April and it's been a nice QoL improvement for getting charts into YARG. I've been using it to pull drum charts and worked most of the bugs out of it. Thought others might find it useful, so I gave it to claude and told it to make it more generalized for other folks to get some use from.

It searches charts by artist/song across a few spots. It attempts to auto detect your YARG charts directory , and it was tested on Linux so idk. Just change the file path in the GUI. It'll auto process encrypted files if you have Onyx Music Game Toolkit installed. Also, I put a song/artist recommendation engine in it, and it hasn't been the best.

If someone has already created this, then i wasted my time and sorry to waste yours too xD If not, I hope some of you guys find it useful. Let me know what needs fixing or what should be added.

What track can I download to help practice whatever pattern this is obviously the answer would be just download the song that’s in the video but I can’t find the harmonix charting anywhere unfortunately

Tempo mapping is something I've heard so many people in this community say they dread.

Disclaimer: I'm well aware how shitty all tooling related to helping build charts has been, and how anti AI slop this community is. I've been working on this automated tooling for a long while, and I think the results for 4/4 songs finally cross the boundary to being useful for many songs and easy to throw away when it's not. The algorithms behind this tool have been a labor of love.

Automatic Tempo Mapping

Open a song and get a first-pass tempo map, then check it and fix what's off. It only works well on songs that stay in 4/4. If a song changes time signature or sits in odd time, tempo map it by hand.

It runs entirely in your browser, no software to download, no server to upload to. Your audio never leaves your machine.

Three steps:

• Generate a draft tempo map: Open an audio file to get a new chart with just the tempo map, or choose an existing chart folder / .zip / .sng to replace its tempo map.
• Check it and fix it: Play the song back with a generated click on the predicted grid, and drag any beat or bar line that's off in the built-in editor.
• Export and keep going: download the chart as a .zip or .sng and continue in whatever editor you prefer.

A 4/4 song usually gets a map you can work with, even when the tempo speeds up, slows down, or drifts around.

Comparing against the original tempo maps in a random set of a few hundred songs, I measured both my tool's generated maps and ConvertHero's, the only other tool I know of that does automated tempo maps. If you know of others I should compare, let me know!

GH: Legacy is a career tracker that recreates the old GH career progression, except spanning the entire franchise back to back - GH1 all the way through Warriors of Rock/GH Live, chronologically, as one continuous run. You still play the actual songs in Clone Hero or YARG; this just tracks the journey and gates your progress the way the games used to.

How it works:

• 🎸 695 songs: all 13 games, grouped into their original chapters/tiers
• ⭐ FC-only progression: a normal clear doesn't cut it, you log score once you've actually full-combo'd it
• 🔒 Real progression gating: songs within a chapter unlock together and can be played in any order, but boss battles/encores stay locked until you've cleared the main setlist, and the next chapter (or next game) stays locked until the current one's fully FC'd. This is enforced server-side, not just a UI suggestion
• 🎚️ Separate careers per difficulty: Easy/Medium/Hard/Expert are all independent runs, so your Expert progress never bleeds into Easy
• 🃏 Wildcards: one per chapter, lets you skip past a song you're stuck on and keep moving, without it counting as a real FC in your stats. Go back and FC it properly whenever you want
• 🏆 Achievements: FC milestones, per-game completions, franchise completion, and a "No Wildcards" achievement for anyone who wants to prove they never took the easy way out
• 👥 Friends + leaderboards: add friends, compare progress, global/friend leaderboards for total FCs and score
• 👤 Profiles: avatar, bio, stats, recent FCs, streaks — all viewable on friends' profiles too
