Fronts placement up high?

I have two Symfonisks that I could harvest from another room to use as fronts for my Arc+sub+300s setup, using Sequencr.

If I add them, they'll each be sitting on top of a bookshelf about 7' from the ground. Is that too high? Will it make a difference for the L+R channels?

PinOne Mini success story :)

My PinOne Mini just came in the mail last night. Got it configured on my PC and have played a handful of rounds on Pinball FX so far.

First impressions: worth every god dang penny. It exceeds my expectations, which were pretty high for a device that costs what this does. Absolutely premium experience.

I just played a round of Monster Bash, one of my all-time favorites. As much as I love this game, I have never "finished" the progression. My old high score was 156 million.

First game I played today with the PinOne: by ball 2 I was able to start every monster mode and get Monster Bash going. As soon as that MB was done, I started Mosh Pit MB and ended up collecting the last two instruments I needed. Then... Monsters of Rock. First time I've ever started the Wizard mode. Final score: 457 million.

PinOne Mini setup

My PinOne Mini is out for delivery :)

I'll be getting home from work late tonight and I'm sure I'm gonna want to get it hooked up and play a few rounds immediately.

I ordered the fully loaded, fully assembled option. Is it basically plug and play with Pinball FX? Am I gonna need to spend time tweaking settings and such to get it working right?

The most pinball thing ever

Just had a really good game going on Twilight Zone. Ball 2, pretty deep in the progression, a couple solid multiballs, some jackpots (including the power MB jackpot, which I don't think I've ever gotten on purpose before).

Ball 2 ends. Extra ball. Skill shot directly from the pops to the left outlane.

Ball three. You saw it coming. It was inevitable. Skill shot to the pops, SDTM.

The thrill of victory, the agony of defeat 😂

I think I'm about to pull the trigger on a PinOne Mini. I don't think I'll ever have a place in my house where I could put a dedicated VPin cabinet, and something like the PinOne would be just about the best thing I can do with my available space.

Before I order it, is there anything else I should be looking at?
