🍓 Strawberry Cake Recipe

Cake

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1½ cups sugar
  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt

Strawberry frosting

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • ¼ cup strawberry puree
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2–3 tbsp heavy cream, as needed

Topping

  • Fresh strawberries 🍓
  • Strawberry cookies

Method:

  1. Mix flour, baking powder and salt.
  2. Cream butter + sugar, then add eggs and vanilla.
  3. Mix in the dry ingredients, alternating with milk.
  4. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25–30 min. Let completely cool.
  5. Beat butter, powdered sugar, strawberry puree and vanilla until fluffy.
  6. Frost the cooled cake, then decorate with strawberries and cookies.
  7. Chill for 30–60 min before serving.

Would you actually eat this for breakfast, or is this too much? 👀

Made myself a breakfast plate with mozzarella sticks, tater tots, and cheesy scrambled eggs with herbs and smoked paprika.

Not the healthiest breakfast... but definitely one of the tastiest. 😂

Would you eat this, or is it way too much for the morning?
