🍓 Strawberry Cake Recipe
Cake
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1½ cups sugar
- ½ cup butter, softened
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
Strawberry frosting
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- ¼ cup strawberry puree
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2–3 tbsp heavy cream, as needed
Topping
- Fresh strawberries 🍓
- Strawberry cookies
Method:
- Mix flour, baking powder and salt.
- Cream butter + sugar, then add eggs and vanilla.
- Mix in the dry ingredients, alternating with milk.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25–30 min. Let completely cool.
- Beat butter, powdered sugar, strawberry puree and vanilla until fluffy.
- Frost the cooled cake, then decorate with strawberries and cookies.
- Chill for 30–60 min before serving.
