Coverage ending and never got redetermination letter - IL
I just got the letter of notice saying my parent’s insurance is ending this month because the redetermination is past due. I checked their online account, there is no renewal nor any redetermination letter mailed out. I stopped by the local offer and they said nothing they can do besides I need to reapply again, which I filled out the paperwork there. They told me it might take up to 60 days, but my parents have lots of doctor appointments and medication. They have the dual plan btw.
So what options do I have? Should I file an appeal as I never got the letter? Just hoping we can reinstate the insurance without reapply everything. Thank you 🙏
