I watched the movie with a close friend of mine and we both really enjoyed the movie and thought it was really cool. During the movie I noticed in certain lighting, that the friend I was watching the movie with looked really similar to Nikki and it added this level of immersion and uncanny feeling that I was not ready for. Like this mix of fear and sorrow of seeing someone I care about being in that scenario was so in my face in certain scenes that it was suffocating. Idk if anyone else has a similar experience with the movie or other movies but it makes an already psychologically scary movie, a psychologically terrifying one.
