So about six months ago, I fell into this trap. However tonight I was on TikTok. A “girl followed” me. I followed her back. She said she was 18 and that she wanted to get to know me I said that’s fine. I’m looking to meet new people and just be friends. Then she asked for my number and if I had a telegram. I gave her my number thinking we will just talk and I told her I didn’t have a telegram. So we talked for a little bit and then she asked for my Instagram. I didn’t give it to her, but she kept trying to force me to give it to her so I blocked her. If they ask for your Instagram and if you would want to move over to telegram don’t do it. Also, don’t send any explicit photos. Don’t give any social media away. Thankfully from my prior experience six months ago I thought quick and blocked “her” the scammer. I believe if I didn’t have my prior experience, I would’ve been blackmailed and fallen for the trap. So be careful and think things through.
