Prioritizing colonization over fruiting?

I have my first ever batch of any kind of mushrooms going right now. They are JMF.

They started pinning in the growbox they came in after 2 weeks so i transfered them into a monotub 5 days ago. (I know it should have been earlier but i couldn't really tell if the growkit was 100%colonized and didnt want to risk contamination in this stage)

The mycelium only spread to about 15% of the surface and about 5 pins survived and made it through the subsrate and the two biggest ones are now about 15-20cm. I harvested the two today because the veil broke.

I am keeping the monotub at about 25°C and low light and high co2/low FAE by taping some of the filters.

I want to make sure i get a proper flush. Should i maybe remove the other small pins as well to encourage colonization first?

Any advice?
