What is happening here?
Can anyone tell me what is growing out of the side of my cactus? I have had this plant for 5 years. I rarely water it. It has just kind of been there and looked cool.

Beaver County Tax Claims Bureau trying to sell house after taxes are paid
Two days ago the sheriff showed up at our door to inform us that our house was on the list for tax sale. Six weeks ago we paid our taxes. We have the reciept. We have been calling every week for the last four weeks to find out why they have not cashed the check. At first they said they were going through an audit. Now they are saying they will cash the check. Has this happened to anyone else? What is going on over there?
