Easiest to hardest third year civil engineering courses

I am trying to plan my schedule accordingly for next year and would like to know which courses were the easiest/hardest and why were they easy/hard? I need to retake some second year courses so don't want crazy hard workload and want to even it out a little. Also if you know any proffesors that I should avoid or you recommend.

Any info would be great, thanks!

Taking a year off school for an internship

I am a civil engineering student and I currently finished my second year and unfortunetly I lost my coop program due to low gpa, and im afraid getting it back up seems a bit hard. I did not get an internship on my own this summer, and I'm afraid I won't get a job after graduation when I dont have any to little internship experience. So I'm wondering, is it possible to take a year off, say I finish 3rd year and decided I want to take 16 months off to do an internship that hopefully I could get on my own? Anyone did that or have experience doing that? Do I need an "excuse" to be able to take two whole semesters off school? is it hard to get an internship on your own? do employers care/ask if you're in the coop program of your university?

Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.
