Hello,

I'm hoping someone can help me with an issue I'm having with my electriQ EcoSilent 12000 BTU portable air conditioner.

Up until a week ago, it was working perfectly. Then suddenly, I heard a noise from the unit, and noticed some water on the floor. I drained the tank using the outlet pipes (though only a small amount of water came out). Now, when I turn it on, the unit powers up and seems to run normally, air is blowing out of the rear vent, but the fan at the top isn’t spinning, and no cold air is coming out.

I read that this could be a capacitor issue, but I tried manually spinning the fan at startup and it didn’t help.

Any ideas or advice would be massively appreciated!
