Substance Painter workflow without Redshift for the beginning of texturing

Hi guys! I’m working on a classroom model where the final render will be done in Redshift. The UVs are already done, and I’d like to start texturing rn. However, I’m using my personal computer, so I was wondering if I could assign a Lambert or another standard Maya material (not Arnold) to the model, export it to Substance Painter, and do all the texturing there. Then, once I’m at a computer with RedShift, export my substance file and connect the textures for the final render.

Would this workflow work, or do I need to have Redshift installed before exporting the model to Substance Painter? Would there be troubles when I try to connect?

P.S. The classroom has many individual models since it’s an environment, so I imagine it might take quite a bit of time to connect everything later, especially since I’ll have quite a few different textures.

Thanks in advance! I’m really new to all that has to do with textures and other render softwares😅.

Where should I buy new iPhone? (Price, reliable)

Hi guys! I'm an exchange student, and unfortunately my phone has decided to pass on to a better life lol. I'm looking to buy an iPhone 17 Pro (256GB), but I'm not sure where the best place to get one is. My first thought was the Apple Store, but I noticed Best Buy has the same for about $100 less. But I wonder if there any extra fees that could end up making it cost the same as buying directly from Apple, thats why im wondering if there's any store like this that would really bring the price a lil down (walmart, coscto,...) ALSO I don't have any canadian phone plans in case its relevant.

If you have any recommendations for stores that sell authentic iPhones at good prices, I'd really appreciate it. Ty!

Looking for a student-friendly and anxiety-proof dentist

Hi everyone! I’m looking for recommendations for a dentist. I’ve had some bad experiences in the past, so I’m looking for someone specific who checks these two boxes:

  1. Student-Friendly Pricing: I’m a international student on a budget, so I need a clinic that is honest and won't try to upsell me on unnecessary treatments. I want to go because of a toothache, so even if i need some procedure done I don't wanna be paying for extra stuff.
  2. Gentle with Anxiety: I have severe dental anxiety and haven't gone to a dentist in a while. I need a dentist (and staff) who are patient and won't judge me for being nervous or for the state of my teeth lol.

So if anyone has recommendation please let me know. Thanks in advance for the help y'all!
