Our couples friends - Wife's best friend
So we have this couple that are our best friends for over 20 years. We see this couple every week, averaging multiple times. The 4 of us enjoy each others company a lot. Me (M) and the wife of my best friend have similar interests and we both are very active. For years she seems to have been subtlely coming on to me. Nothing overt, just private glances, some comments that don't seem like much, except in the moment.
In 2 months, both of our spouses are going away on the same weekend separately. Last week my wife, myself, and this woman were out to dinner, the women call it a throuple, and the other woman says to my wife, is it ok if I keep your husband busy when you and my husband are away. This was stated somewhat innocently as we were talking about a local concert our 4 person group could not attend when the spouses are away. But she gave me a look.
I could be reading this wrong, but it seemed like she was leading somewhere. I think this woman is very sexy and always have, and if she makes a serious pass at me, it will be tempting. I told my wife I am just a little uncomfortable spending time with her friend while she is away. My wife doesn't seem concerned and says I should hang out with her.
I am flattered, concerned, and anxious. Not sure what I would do if she seriously hit on me. I have always been faithful to my wife, but I have fantasized about this woman for many years.
