getting into reading

Hi,
I’m trying to get a bit more into reading. I enjoyed reading fanfiction in high school, and I loved the book the seven husbands of evelyn hugo. I don’t really love romance novels, and prefer the slow burn, suspense, sad endings, etc.

I also really love music! So any taylor swift or harry styles fans out there who have read books that remind them of songs such as the great war, would’ve, could’ve, should’ve, happiness, the black dog, etc by taylor swift or honestly any of the songs off of kiss all the time, disco occasionally would be greatly appreciated!

calculating my tdee

i’m trying to guesstimate my tdee, and i was wondering if anyone could give me any advice.

for reference, i’m a 20 y/o female, 5’11, 155lbs, i average about 12k steps a day, and i think i can lift relatively heavy? idk, i’ll do a smith hip thrust at 135 and by the last 5 reps i slow down and have to take a breather for a couple seconds btwn each rep in order to maintain proper form.

I’ll do the stair master for a min. of 20 mins between level 6-8, and try to avoid leaning onto the bar as much as possible. on leg days i’ll incline treadmill for 30 mins at a speed of 3.7 and incline 7. I also get steps outside of that, grocery shop, clean, move around the house etc. Through the stairmaster or treadmill I’ll get 1800-3K steps. Through other activities outside of intentional cardio, I’ll get 8k steps. I also walk on my walking pad at a speed of 4 when I feel like doom scrolling so I’m not just sitting down.

when i use tdee calculators, if i select moderate activity it gives me 2400 cals, and if i do heavy activity it’ll give me 2700. if i was going off just steps, i would say i’m doing a moderate level of activity, but with the weightlifting i def think its heavy exercise. however, 2700 cals just seems like far too much, and 2400 just doesn’t seem like enough. i feel like 2550 give or take would be a bit more accurate.

I’m usually comfortably full at around 2250 cals, but I’m trying to find my maintenance so I can create a smaller deficit thats manageable over a longer period of time.

What would you guys think ?

scale weight not changing but looking better ?

Okay so, I was binging for a bit once every few days for 2-3 weeks, never anything too insane and on said days i walked well over 12k steps. While i understand that I may have gained a lb or two, I’ve been looking way better? I’ve also started creatine, so idk if thats made a difference, but I’m lifting heavier, I’m walking between 10-15k steps a day, and I just look way better? My stomachs a bit bloated, but I think thats more so to do w the constipation & creatine and excessive drinking of water than it is actual fat. My scale has gone up about 5lbs since I’ve overeaten, and I truly don’t believe thats fat, but I also want a harsh reality check on whether or not it is.

I’m not even quite sure what my tdee is, my trainer has me at 2050 cals for training days and 1850 for rest days, and for context i’m 20, 5’11, for tdee sake i’m 157lbs, I walk 10-15k steps a day, 12k avg/a week and I can do about 130lbs on hip thrusts, 120 on leg press etc, so I would say I can lift relatively heavy. I just don’t know if this is water weight, stress from genuinely not having had a single rest day that doesnt involve either walking or something in well over a month, the overeating/binging (which isn’t every day), or what. I guess I just put rely on the scale too much and don’t know what to believe.
