my bofriend cheated on me who is my husband since 7 years
About a year ago, I found out that my husband, who was my boyfriend before marriage, had cheated on me during the years we were in a long-distance relationship.
We met during our engineering days, and he pursued me for a long time. He didnt let any other boy talk to me. used to act like mad for me. After four years of college, I finally fell in love with him. But I had strict condition of No sex before marriage to which he ageered. He used to say he can wait for me forever. Infact he can stay with me and love me the most even without sex.
After college, we both got jobs in Hyderabad and were happy together. Later, he went to Romania and then Germany for work and stayed abroad for about 3 years. We were long distance, but we spoke every day on the phone, and I never suspected anything. He did change a little, but whenever I asked about it, he said it was because of the distance and that things will be better once we lived together. I believed him.
Over time, our marriage was fixed. He came back to India, convinced my parents, brought gifts for them, and both families met. He spent a lot from his side on the wedding arrangements and never asked for dowry.
Now, after 7 years of marriage, I discovered that while we were in a long-distance relationship, he was physically involved with two other women. He told them about me being his girlfriend showed my pictures also to them. also he said that things with me were uncertain, and that my parents were forcing me for arrange marriage etc etc which was true actually but I was fighting with my parents for him. He told those women that he loved them, and that he enjoyed spending time with them. he slept with them even after our marriage date was fixed and announced. 3 months before marriage he told the girl truth that he is going to get married and that they shouldnt meet. That girl came to his house all drunk and created big drama.
When I found out, I was devastated. I could not believe what our relationship was. If he was interested in those women, why did he stay with me and marry me? He used to come to India every year to see me and stay for almost 3 weeks. He was also planning a future with me, including buying or building a house together. and at the same time sleeping with pther women abroad.
Now, whenever I think back, I feel completely confused and broken.
