A hidden invitation or just curiosity?
Hi everyone. Looking for some advice.
I'm a man (40). Five days ago, I was having a drink at a bar after work and noticed two female friends. I bought them drinks, and we started talking. I immediately liked one of them, but I tried to keep the conversation going with both of them so as not to offend anyone. However, the woman I liked seemed to distance herself; it even seemed to me like she was letting us take the initiative.
We chatted with the second woman (31), had some more drinks, laughed, and the conversation felt natural. I asked her to dance (no dirty talk or groping). We sat for a while afterward, holding hands, looking into each other's eyes.
When I had to go, I suggested exchanging numbers so we could meet in a more relaxed setting and get to know each other better, all sober. She agreed. I left her with a friend and drove away.
The next day, after waiting a decent amount of time, I first messaged her on messenger, then called. There was no response. A few hours later, I called again and realized she'd been blocked. Then I messaged her again and received the same response, after which I was immediately blocked on messenger as well.
"Hi. Sorry, I'm not ready to continue the conversation, let's leave it at that."
Now my question: this morning, while scrolling through my feed, I noticed that she unblocked me. Could this be a hint at my overtures or is there anything else going on? I really like this girl, but I'm not planning on stalking anyone or being clingy. Thanks in advance.
