I have an upcoming written test and interview for PhD admissions at IIIT Bangalore in the VLSI domain. For some background, I completed my Master's at BITS Pilani and I'm aiming to pursue research specifically in hardware-accelerated AI.

I'd appreciate any insights from folks who have been through their process:

• Written Test: What is the general difficulty level? Is it on par with hard GATE questions, or is it more focused on direct theoretical concepts?

• Interview: What is the interview process like, and what kind of depth do they expect?
