Why is there so much fuss about TLOU2 being divisive, when its rating among buyers is relative to universally liked games and other Sony game sequels?

TLOU2 is considered the most divisive AAA game, but if 50 percent of people who played the game hate it, then why is it rated among buyers relative to universally liked games and equal to other Sony sequels?

I am in no way saying it's some genre-defining game, but from the rating, it just seems like an average Sony blockbuster.

How does part 2 have quadruple the user scores than part 1?

If part 1 has double the sales of part 2 and is required before playing, it is most likely to have more reviews than part 2.

Do those Part 2 reviewers even own the game, or is it just a result of the hate campaign?

What is wrong with Abby character?

Joel killed her father, 18 more people who were probably close to him, and potentially took the chance for the world ever to get a cure. So she killed Joel.

Ellie, for that, killed all six of her 6 friends, including her lover and an infant child, so she, in response she kills Jesse and lets the others go.

Why it seems like Abby's side faced more loss. Despite the claim that writers have a special likeness towards her?

Why does TLOU2 have so many reviews on Metacritic user score?

Elden Ring sold over 30 million copies

Baldur's Gate 3 sold over 20 million copies

Cyberpunk 2077 sold over 40 million copies

Black Myth: Wukong sold over 30 million copies

And Red Dead Redemption 2 has recently sold over 85 million copies, but how are their Metacritic user reviews, if even combined, only half of TLOU 2? Even though TLOU 2, at the moment, has probably sold more than 15 million copies? It is 15 times less than the combined sales of those games.

Is TLOU2 getting reviews from people who never played it?
