Hello, I am going to the Philippines this October. I only have 2 weeks off, and I want to marry my Filipina wife. The problem is that 2 weeks is not enough. I have checked my other option, and it is through an officiant. Someone offered their service that we will have an advanced ceremony, and the date on the marriage license will just be the date when the Marriage License gets released. Is this legal, or is this offer a red flag?

Any suggestions on how we can pull off this wedding? My work can't give me more than 2 weeks off.

Do I need to get the certificate in US Embassy in Manila or I can just get one here in Detroit and have it apostilled?

We will have our marriage in Iloilo City.
