Less than a week old air con started making this weird whiny noise and now I can smell a burnt smell coming from it.
electriQ EcoSilent 10000 BTU Smart Quiet Portable Air Conditioner is the name of the unit. Hose is out the window bought a window kit with it and the bedroom door is closed while it’s running. It only started making this noise around 2 days ago and it wasn’t constant but now it is. Sometimes there’s also a chirping sound when I turn it on. Bedroom is around 13sq meters. Never owned a portable air con before. Should I return it?
