So…I have never done an amended return before and only heard how long they take. After viewing my actual transcript I see that it was issued then returned the same day. They have the wrong address for me, and didn’t have my bank info on my actual IRS account. I put my bank info in and tried to call, but was on hold for two hours just to be hung up on. Is this something that will naturally resolve once they see my bank information is now there? I’ve received no correspondence from the IRS about anything. Or do I need to make an appointment with the local office to try and have the issue handled? The office with a 2.2 star review lol…
