Sorry if the photos are a little shit but I just finished my kharn kitbash and was looking for some ideas as far as basing goes for my magnum opus. Any suggestions or ideas for the model itself are also much appreciated.

I'm about to start painting my Daemon Prince and I'm not entirely sure what colour scheme I'd like to go with or how to go about painting it. It's my first model bigger than a space marine and it's the last left to complete my combat patrol so it's a pretty daunting task.
