Worth pursuing a creative career?

I need real talk, I'm about to pursue a multimedia course in a big university in my country, I'm honestly really passionate about video editing and motion design, I even work better under pressure, during my time in highschool I was my school's tv broad technical and we won nationally, people praised the graphics I made. It was tiring sure but the pressure allowed me to create the graphics I was proud of. Now, heading into a college, I wanna pursue this career permanently, long term I am hoping for a path in a studio, smth like a vfx artist. But I feel pressured a bit because my peers are taking more practical courses, some are taking accountancy, some pre med while some pre law, and here I am taking the creative path. To all the creatives out there, was it worth it? Is it worth it?

Partner doesn't really support my career path

Problem/Goal: Partner doesn't really want the career path I'm taking

Context: Recently had an argument with my partner and it's a bit about my career. Basically she doesn't really support my career, I'm taking media arts in a big 4 university and I've been doing video editing for a couple years now. She told me that I should have taken a BS course instead of a BA course, telling me I'll be jobless in 10 years, idk if she told me that out of anger but it hit smth in me that it's making me ask for advice here on reddit. During my time in highschool a couple years ago, I was my team's tv Broadcasting chief tech and we won nationally, also had best tech, placed inside top 3, tons of people applauded me for the graphics I presented while her? Idk if it's out of madness but she kinda insulted me about not placing 1st despite me pouring so much time and effort into it. For context, me and my partner were already together in highschool, and it has been a constant argument when I'm busy with extracurriculars involving video editing such as tv broad, tho she is also an academic achiever and also participates in contests, being a tech was even more busy, training at day, editing at night, but I still try my best to find time to talk to her and be with her. When I didn't have training, I once took up a freelancing editing job and earned 5 digits in a month, tho I quickly had to end that once training began again, I still earned, I even took her out, but even though ganun she doesn't really support my career. Is it best we breakup?
