Workstation 1000d gpu rendering
Hi everyone.
I'm working on cable routing in a Corsair 1000D with 2× Corsair XR7 480 front radiators in push/pull and 2× XR7 360 top radiators in push/pull. Total is 32 Noctua industrialPPC 3000 PWM fans, controlled by 2× Aqua Computer OCTO using 1-to-2 PWM splitters.
The issue is not electrical, it's physical routing. The front XR7 480 stack leaves very little room for fan cables. Routing cables between fan frames compresses them too much. Routing them through the center channel between the two front radiator stacks works better, but the 1000D front I/O cable bundle adds a lot of thickness near the tray.
Current idea:
- 8 upper front fans exit upward
- 8 lower front fans exit downward
- splitters placed close to the fan pairs
- single PWM trunks routed back to the OCTO controllers
Does anyone with a 1000D + front push/pull radiators have photos or routing suggestions for keeping the fan trunks clean without fighting the front I/O bundle?
I made a render of the project and some photos of the fans. The gpu waterblock is no longer ekwb but heatkiller V ultra (5090 tuf). This build is made for gpu rendering.
Thx you help
