This is Verde (yes, I know, I was young when they let me name him). He was my mom’s until I recently inherited him and I’ve never been his favourite but we’re doing our best. Today was a routine vet visit and he looooves car rides, but not nearly as much as he loves getting fawned over by the vets and techs.

He’s such a grump at home sometimes but the minute he’s in his little lunch box he’s the charming man (bird, I guess)-about-town. Little chitters. Active listening. Unbelievable.

Anyway, he’s an old man (I guess?) but he’s got a clean bill of health and even got his nails & beak trimmed in the bargain. Wish my cats liked going to the vet even a tenth as much as he does.
