II feel like I’ve reached that point where most horror movies just don’t scare me anymore 😭

Like I’ve watched a lot of the mainstream ones already — supernatural, psychological, found footage, slashers, disturbing horror, all of it — and now I’m struggling to find movies that are actually GOOD instead of just loud jumpscares.

So I need recommendations from people who genuinely love horror.

I’m looking for movies that:

• actually leave you unsettled after watching
• have a creepy atmosphere/tension
• good plot > cheap jumpscares
• psychological horror is welcome
• disturbing recommendations are okay too as long as they’re genuinely good and not just shock value

Just finished “If Wishes Could Kill” and now I genuinely don’t know what to watch next 😭

There was just something about the vibe of the show that got me so invested. The whole dark school atmosphere, the tension between the characters, the psychological side of it, and that feeling that everyone was hiding something made it way more addictive than I expected.

I’m looking for series or movies with a similar feeling. Not necessarily the same storyline, but something that gives off the same kind of tension/emotional attachment.

Things I’m mainly looking for:

• dark school or teen setting
• psychological/mystery elements
• intense friendships or group dynamics
• characters with hidden motives/secrets
• thriller vibes
• plot twists that actually make you sit there for a second 😭

Would honestly love underrated recommendations too because I feel like I’ve already watched most of the well-known ones at this point.
