X-mid 2 leaking issue
I've had my X-mid 2 for about 2 years now, but during my last trip I've noticed that it's leaking slightly. Even during light rain, single drops will run down from the seams along the ridge of the fly and land on the inner, dripping through into the interior. I've noticed dark spots around the area where the trekking poles are inserted into the fly, suggesting that the rain leaks through here where the strain on the fabric is highest, and runs along the ridge.
I'm wondering what caused the leak there, whether it's a manufacturing defect or simply misuse. In case of the latter, the issue I can think of is pitching it with the trekking poles too high, causing too much strain and loosening the taped seams? I did pitch it at 130cm once at the time that I first noticed the issue.
Has anyone ever had a similar issue? It's not terrible, it won't flood completely, but it feels a bit iffy in heavy rain. Any insight or advice is appreciated!
