I dated him for 2 years, broken up for 5. He cheated on me constantly and abused me emotionally.

He recently came back into my life with a massive apology for his actions. I very tentatively accepted and within the month we were involved. Sexting, but nothing physical. I asked him if he’d like to meet and he kept dodging the dates.

Eventually, I snooped and found that not only did he have a fiancée, he was moving to another state with her in a day. I confronted him and he claimed she had also cheated. That apparently my soul was “too pure” and he still ”loved me”. I immediately blocked him, but I didn’t tell her because it reawakened my trauma from the past abuse.

Am I a bad person? I’ve been upset all night
