Hello film people, I’m an actor and at uni we’ve been doing a film class for the last few months and I’ve fallen in love with the camera. We’re currently using an older black magic model, but I don’t know if it’s the best one to get if i’m gonna start making my own stuff.

If I do want to, what will I need to make decent short films? What cameras do you recommend and what accessories will I need to go with them? I also think it would be good to get some sound stuff.

Looking at things that aren’t ridiculously expensive for film equipment and that I can use to produce some half decent stuff for fun or festivals. Would really appreciate the advice :)
